Where have I been???

Pregnant!!! I am blessed with a significant amount of morning sickness for about the first 6 months of pregnancy. I just couldn't keep up renovating, maintaining my home, and taking care of my four kids.
We are now in the heart of winter... so renovations will resume as soon as the weather is a little warmer and the new baby is not quite so newborn...

We have changed our plans a little (I will elaborate later), but we do still plan to move into the RV as soon as it is renovated.

June 2016 Expenses: Preparing to get on the road!

We spent $326.34 this month. The majority of this months expenses was painting supplies.  We bought several brushes, spray paints, putty, primer, paint, and many other painting supplies. I have also begun work on my blog, it will be a work in progress for a while. I found a really good you tube channel that gives a lot of great info about customizing a blogger blog. I will post a link soon.

And the trouble begins!!! ;)

We went and picked up our RV on Saturday, and ran into our first problem as soon as we arrived home. Our driveway is so steep that the back and front hit the concrete every time we tried to get it up the driveway. It was late and dark, so we left it in front of our house. We live on a curve, so we parked it on the sidewalk for fear someone would hit it coming around the corner to fast. We spent a day trying to figure out what our next move was and in the meantime, we received TWO tickets. One for expired tags and one for parking it on a sidewalk!!

There is a happy ending, my husband used his excellent parking skills and some blocks of wood and managed to back it in at an extreme angle directly from the sidewalk. It is now parked in our driveway! What a relief! Now we can focus on getting new tags and all that good stuff.

I will be posting a walk-through soon.

We found an RV!!!!

We purchased an RV! It is an older fixer upper and we love it! It is a 1992 37' Fleetwood Southwind Class A Motorhome- Chevy 454 Gas Engine with 31,000 miles. It runs great and the price was right at $6,750.00. We are bringing it home later this week and I will do a full video tour, but here are a couple photos...
